Welcome to Couple Chef Restaurant & Catering Services, a warm, family-owned Filipino-Canadian restaurant at 1199 Fife St in Winnipeg, nestled in the heart of the city's vibrant Filipino community. Opened in August 2024, we occupy a distinctive, iconic 1970s building — designed to resemble a country inn with brick masonry and a tall cedar shake roof — now serving as the home of our unique East-meets-West comfort food experience.
Our extensive all-day menu bridges two culinary cultures. On the Filipino side, enjoy authentic classics including chicken inasal, overload lugaw, lechon kawali, beef tapa, pork tocino, skinless longganisa, pancit, and refreshing halo-halo. On the Canadian side, savour hearty breakfast plates, soups, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, nachos, and pierogies — all made fresh from scratch using quality ingredients.
